The short version: your photos stay on your phone while you edit. Exports and captions pass through our own servers and are deleted within three hours. There are no advertising SDKs, no tracking, and nothing is sold or shared.

Projects you are working on are stored on the device. So are your saved business details and logo. They are not uploaded unless you export or request captions.
Auto captions run on our own server using a speech model we host ourselves. The audio is not sent to any third-party transcription service, and it is deleted with the rest of the job within three hours.
Pro is sold by the Apple App Store and Google Play. They handle payment details, refunds and cancellation; we never see a card number. Subscription status reaches us through RevenueCat, which stores an anonymous purchase identifier linked to your account.
The included music is public domain (CC0) or Creative Commons Attribution. Where credit is required, the app shows the exact line to include with your post. Full list on the music credits page.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will remove it.
You can see and change your name and password in the app under Account. You can export your videos at any time. You can delete your account and everything attached to it from Account → Delete my account, which takes effect immediately; see deleting your account. You may also write to us and ask for a copy of your data or its deletion.
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes, never in readable form. Uploaded media sits in a job folder that is removed on a timer.
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the new version will be posted here with a new date, and the app will link to it.
